Dance & Drill Team

About the Team

The WMS Dance and Drill Team is made up of 6th, 7th and 8th-grade girls who perform various precision pom and high-kick routines during halftime at home football and basketball games.

They have performed at other events as well, including JV high school football games, the Bojangles Basketball Shootout and the Waxhaw Christmas Parade.

Squad members are selected in the spring. They attend camp for three days in the summer, and practices begin in August in preparation for the first home football game. The season ends in December.
